About me
Since I was a child, my emotional relationship with objects has been a form of expression. Observing their composition and playing with assembling and disassembling brought me closer to manual creation and a sensorial experience with textures. My contact with the living arts (mainly dance) and architecture connected me with the power of moving forms and the encounter with the other in creation. To assemble is to love. I see something divine in creating and in how things work.
I have always quietly observed animals, plants and fungi. Over time, I have come to understand their great complexity, with unique relationships between their clans and an innate intelligence to their existence.
This deep connection with biology is reflected in my work. In it, forms emerge as different beings, whose vitality is manifested through their textures and presence, and are reminders of the beauty and specialness of being alive, inviting us to care for this state with appreciation.
The states of the vegetal/animal, the symbiosis as the soul of the encounter between beings and the movement of the apparently static, are part of the inspiration of the works I present, revealing my constant attempt to find new ways to narrate my relationship with life.
